Acting on a tip-off, the Anti-Narcotics Task Force (ANTF), Amritsar range, on Wednesday nabbed three drug traffickers.
They have been identified as Maninderjit Singh, Peter and Lovejit Singh alias Raja.
It seized 521gm heroin along with four PX5 storm pistols, seven magazines and 55 live cartridges from them.
The consignment was reportedly smuggled from Pakistan.
Sharing this on X, DGP Gaurav Yadav said the accused were arrested from near Shankar Dhaba on Attari road. He said the ANTF was actively pursuing both forward and backward linkages to dismantle the network.
A case under the NDPS and Arms Acts was registered with the ANTF police station at Mohali.
