5 booked for threatening judicial team

On the directions of Indu Bala, Additional Civil Judge (Senior Division) of Khadur Sahib, five members of a Fatehabad village family have been nominated as the accused in a two-month-old case by the Goindwal Sahib police. The accused allegedly threatened a judicial team while it was carrying out a court-ordered land possession procedure.

The judicial team had gone to take possession of a piece of land. ASI Gurpal Singh said despite the court issuing warrants for possession, the accused threatened the complainant and members of the judicial team. He said a case has been registered against Vishal Gupta, Ashu Mahajan alias Sheru, Abishek Mahajan alias Kalu, Amritpal and Varun Gupta.
