The district health authorities reported five positive cases on Wednesday with which the total count has increased to 47,052.

These cases include four influenza like illness cases and one contact of a positive patient.

The authorities reported no Covid-19 related death on today. With recovery of six patients, the recovery count has increased to 45,426. At present, the district has a total of 42 active cases.

Meanwhile, a total of 934 persons were inoculated today. Of these, 662 received their first dose, while 272 received their second jab.
