Amritsar, December 31
BS Goraya, who had campaigned for opening the Kartarpur corridor, has come out with a book “Zindaginaama Guru Nanak”.
In his book, he chronicles the Udasis (travels) of the founder of the Sikhism with quotes from different available books of that period and even takes help of Persian books to buttress his logic.
He said the objective of the book was that the source of the entire animal kingdom was one so in the home of Guru Nanak Dev there was no distinction between human beings on their origin basis.
He gave a vivid description of those regions where the Guru had visited and which royalty was ruling the place at that time. For instance, he had visited Magh state which was under the control of Bengal ruled by Alaudin Husain Shah.
He said the first Sikh Guru was against discrimination on the basis of religion and had flayed it in all forms visible at that time in society.
