Actor Shehnaaz Gill spends time with inmates at Pingalwara

Amritsar: Actor Shehnaaz Gill surprised the inmates of Pingalwara by visiting the Manawala and bus stand complexes on her visit to Amritsar. Gill, who arrived in the city to pay obeisance at the Golden Temple, visited Pingalwara and spent over three hours interacting with the special children and inmates. This is the first time that the actor made a public appearance after the death of her close friend Siddhartha Shukla. Dressed casually in jeans, a green cardigan and shawl, Shehnaaz shared that she had been planning to visit Pingalwara since long, but could not take time out from her schedule. She clicked pictures with the special wards of Pingalwara, who seemed excited as they recognised her. She also met

Sohna, Mohna, the conjoined twins, who are Pingalwara’s wards. She also met Dr Inderjit Kaur, director, All-India Pingalwara Charitable Society. Gill also gifted some fruits and other things to the inmates. TNS
