The police said the AGTF team was on patrol in the Khiala, Chawinda Khurd and Lopoke areas near the Indo-Pak border when they intercepted two persons riding a motorcycle without registration number. During questioning, the police got suspicious and frisked them.

During frisking, the police recovered two Glock 43 pistols along with three magazines from them. The weapons were apparently smuggled from Pakistan. They did not give satisfactory answers to the police queries.
