On July 24, the drive would start in the north zone from Goal Bagh and in the west zone from Bharti Office Chowk to Ram Tirath Road. In the east zone, MC workers would collect garbage in Goldi Wali Park. In the centre zone, the drive would be conducted from Subash Park to Hall Gate.

Hundreds of MC employees, along with members from local NGOs, including Ekjot Langar Sewa Society, Mission Agaaz and Humanity Forever, participated in the drive.

The MC Commissioner said the main purpose to launch the campaign was to give a message to the public to avoid dumping dry and plastic waste on roadsides. The waste should be thrown in dustbins lying on footpaths. He said the MC was committed to provide civic amenities to residents. He said cleanliness could be maintained in the city clean only with residents cooperation.
