Around 12.30 am, they heard cries from the tubewell yard of Kashmir Singh Chachowali. They reached there and reportedly saw Goda attacking Joban with a brick.

Rajan claimed that three other accomplices of Goda were also there on the spot, but he failed to identify them as there was no light.

When the victims’ brother and mother reached near them, the accused and accomplices fled away from the spot.

Rajan Singh claimed that his brother and Goda had a clash around a year back and he killed his brother over the old rivalry.

On being informed, the Kathunagal police reached the spot and registered a case under Sections 302 and 34 of the IPC in this regard. No arrest has been made so far.
