Amritsar, February 24
It was an aura of colour, zest and rhythm at Spring Dale Senior School as students and teachers of the pre-primary wing hosted the annual theatre festival, Jashn, here on Monday. The show was based on the vision to celebrate the bliss of life. The young artists meticulously performed to convey the idea of living in the moment and celebrating life as it unfolds.
Sahiljit Singh Sandhu, chairman and Dr Kirat Sandhu Cheema, director, Spring Dale Educational Society, were present on the occasion to cheer and encourage young performers.”The aim of education is not just to teach, but also to help the young minds to learn to appreciate the bliss of life,” said Sahiljit.
Rajiv Kumar Sharma, Principal, Spring Dale Senior School, said the show was based on the idea to celebrate each day as special as the life moved on to cover new horizons leaving behind trails and it was an individual’s choice to move on with the ever flowing stream of life or to get struck in the trail. Sharma further stated that young students tried to depict the importance of celebrating significant days as International Day of Peace, World Health Day and Children’s Day. — TNS
