Two motorcycle-borne assailants shot a man dead at Naushehra Pannuan on Thursday evening.

The deceased has been identified as Bikramjit Singh alias Bikkar Singh, 30, a resident of Chaudhrywala in Naushehra Pannuan.

The police from Sarhali rushed to the spot.

Eyewitnesses said two motorcycle-borne men with covered faces arrived on the scene. One of them fired at Bikkar leaving him critically injured. He was rushed to a private hospital where he died.

The deceased was an AAP volunteer. Sarhali police have registered a case.
