After the Bhog of Akhand Path, the Jatha of Hazuri Raagi Bhai Jagroop Singh performed Gurbani Kirtan. Ardas was performed by Bhai Balwinder Singh at Gurdwara Sri Manji Sahib Diwan Hall of the Golden Temple in memory of the attack.

The Hukamnama was presented to the Sangat by the Granthi of the Golden Temple, Giani Parvinderpal Singh. He said during the Punjabi Suba Morcha, the then Congress government had attacked Sachkhand Sri Harmandir Sahib in 1955 to suppress the voice of the Sikhs. SGPC chief secretary Kulwant Singh Mannan said the government misused its power and put the Akalis in jails during the Punjabi Suba Morcha.
