Beauty with brains: Amritsar's Dr Jaspreet Kaur Sobti bags second runner-up title of Mrs India Earth 2021
Amritsar: Dr Jaspreet Kaur Sobti, a dental surgeon from the city, bagged the second runner-up title of Mrs India Earth 2021 at the recently held beauty pageant. Dr Sobti has a 2-year-old daughter. This is another example of how Punjabi women are taking a lead in beauty pageants after the recent win of Harnaaz Sandhu at Miss Universe 2021. Sharing her experience, Dr Sobti said she is a nature lover and her curiosity about exploring her own potential made her register for the contest. “I always wanted to explore and experience new things. I had won Mrs Amritsar title a year ago that got me to represent my state at the Mrs India Earth. Throughout the event, I learnt a lot of things about myself, about others and it was a rewarding experience,” she said. She credited her husband Sagar Sobti and her family for her success as they gave her support to participate with a free mind and courage. TNS
