In his message, CKD president Dr Inderbir Singh Nijjar emphasised Bhai Vir Singh’s monumental contribution in laying the foundation of CKD and shaping its guiding principles. He noted that Bhai Vir Singh’s literary brilliance, spiritual depth and unwavering commitment to Sikh values continue to inspire the organisation’s mission. Dr Nijjar highlighted that Bhai Vir Singh Study Centre has been established by the CKD to preserve, research and promote his religious, literary and cultural legacy for scholars and future generations.

He further shared that the recently held 67th World Sikh Educational Conference was also dedicated to Bhai Vir Singh’s ideals. As a lasting tribute, the CKD also inaugurated the ultra-modern Sri Guru Harkrishan Senior Secondary Public School in Batala, commemorating his profound influence on Sikh education.

Bhai Vir Singh founded and published Khalsa Advocate and Nirgunyara, which are still actively published by the Diwan, currently under the stewardship of Khalsa Tract Society members in-charge Prof Sukhbir Singh and Harmanjit Singh. “The writings, thoughts and lifelong service of Bhai Vir Singh remain a guiding light for the vision and mission of the Chief Khalsa Diwan,” said Dr Nijjer.
