BJP Yuva Morcha leader, others injured in quarrel
Amritsar, August 30
A quarrel between BJP Yuva Morcha and AAP leaders erupted leading to the injuries to several persons from both sides. The scuffle occurred over the cleaning of pond in Beas town.
The injured were rushed to the Baba Bakala Civil Hospital and Guru Nanak Dev Hopsital (GNDH) in Amritsar here where they were under treatment.
An official of the Police Department said the victims were yet to lodge written complaints and they were awaiting medico-legal reports for further necessary action. He said a case would be registered as per the complaints received and medical reports of the victims.
Former BJP Rajya Sabha MP Shwait Malik and BJP district president Harwinder Singh Sandhu condemned the incident.
