Amritsar, December 30

Activists of the Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha (BJYM), the youth wing of the BJP, burnt an effigy of Congress MP Ravneet Bittu during a protest outside Hathi Gate here on Wednesday.

District Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha (BJYM) president Gautam Arora alleged that Bittu had tried to incite violence with his statement issued to a news channel. Bittu is the representative of the public and making such statements does not suits him, state Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha (BJYM) in-charge Rajesh Honey said.
