Blood donation camp held at DITI

A blood donation camp was organised at Dayanand Industrial Training Institute (DITI), under the supervision of Principal Sanjeev Sharma. The camp aimed to promote the spirit of service and encourage voluntary blood donation among the students and staff.

The event was coordinated by Ranjit Singh, NSS Programme Officer, Gagandeep Singh, NCC Officer, and Harwinder Singh. A total of 31 staff members and students came forward to donate blood voluntarily.

Among the staff members, Gagandeep Singh, Kuldeep Singh, Navjot Sharma and Navjot Joshi also donated blood, setting an inspiring example for the students.

Addressing the gathering, Principal Sanjeev Sharma highlighted the importance of blood donation and its role in saving lives. He said that donating blood not only helps those who are in need but also contributes to the well-being of the donor. He encouraged everyone to participate in such noble causes regularly and make it a part of their social responsibility.

A dedicated team of doctors and medical staff from the local Blood Bank managed the collection and ensured that all safety protocols were followed. Donors were given refreshments as a token of appreciation for their valuable contribution.
