BSF apprehends Pak intruder on international border

The vigilant Border Security Force (BSF) personnel on duty in Amritsar district observed suspecious movement of a person who crossed the international border and started approaching towards the security fence. In a swift response, the BSF personnle challenged him to stop and subsequently apprehended him at 1.35 am on Monday.

Upon preliminary questioning, the intruder revealed his identity as a Pakistani national. The intruder was apprehended in an area adjacent to Bharopal village in Amritsar district.

After initial interrogation by the BSF and sister agencies, the Pakistani intruder was handed over to the Amritsar police for further investigation and to know about his motive behind crossing the international border.
