BSF recovers 2 drones, heroin packets in separate incidents at Amritsar border
Following specific inputs, the BSF troops confiscated two drones and two packets of heroin in three separate incidents in the Amritsar border belt here on Saturday.
A broken drone along with a packet of heroin weighing around 550gm were seized from Dhanoe Kalan village near the International Border. Similarly, another broken drone was seized from Uttar Dhariwal village.
In the third incident, a packet of heroin weighing around 510gm was found from Roranwala Khurd village.
A BSF spokesperson said both the drones seized were China-made DJI Mavic 3 Classic. The heroin packets were wrapped in yellow adhesive tape.
