The Border Security Force (BSF) has carried out multiple successful operations along the India–Pakistan border in Punjab over the last 24 hours, resulting in significant seizure of narcotics, arms and a drone.
In the first operation, the BSF seized a packet of heroin weighing 529 grams from agricultural fields near Kahangarh village. The consignment, wrapped in a yellow adhesive tape, also contained pistol parts and an empty magazine.
In another search operation conducted near Dhanoe Kalan village, jawans seized a pistol with a magazine and six cartridges along with two opium packets weighing 120 grams.
Acting on credible intelligence, the BSF carried out a search near Chakk Allabaksh village and seized a 587 grams of heroin. The BSF jawans also seized a DJI Mavic 3 Classic drone from the outskirts of Nesta village, suspected to have been used for cross-border smuggling.
