BSF seizes two drones, heroin along border in Amritsar
Vigilant BSF troops in coordination with its intelligence wing have seized two drones and one packet of suspected heroin in a single day from different locations along border areas in Amritsar.
One DJI Mavic 3 Classic drone was recovered at about 12.20 pm from farming field adjacent to Dhanoe Khurd village in the district. A similar drone was found at around 4.25 pm from a farm field of the same village.
Another packet of suspected heroin (gross weight 440 grams) was recovered at about 1.45 pm from farming field adjacent to Bharopal village in the district.
These significant recoveries highlights the BSF’s commitment to prevent any illicit movement of Pakistani drones along with heroin consignment from across the border, decimating the desperate attempts of cross-border narco syndicates.
