Campus notes: Campus placement drive

The Postgraduate Department of Commerce and Business Management at Swami Swatantranand Memorial College, Dinanagar, organised a campus placement drive on March 8, leading to the selection of 10 students by Muthoot Finance Ltd. The recruitment drive saw enthusiastic participation from 110 students across various undergraduate and postgraduate programmes. The selection process comprised multiple rounds, including an aptitude test, technical assessment and a final interview. After rigorous evaluation, 10 students were chosen for employment opportunities with the financial services firm. College principal Dr RK Tuli extended heartfelt gratitude to Muthoot Finance Ltd for providing students with valuable career opportunities.

Seminar on Artificial Intelligence

The Postgraduate Department of Computer Science at RRMK Arya Mahila Mahavidyalaya, Pathankot, organised a national seminar on “Women Empowerment Using AI” on Wednesday. The event brought together esteemed academicians, researchers and industry experts to discuss the role of AI in empowering women across various fields. The seminar featured distinguished speakers, including Dr SL Gupta, Professor at Birla Institute of Technology (BIT), Noida, Dr Deepak Sharma, PhD in Animation and VFX from Poornima University and Dr Rajeev Agrawal, Associate Professor, Department of Mechanical Engineering, MNIT, Jaipur.
