Campus notes: Innovation Lab at Millennium School

The Millennium School, Amritsar took a historic step in the field of education by launching its state-of-the-art AI Innovation Lab. This lab integrates cutting-edge technologies such as Artificial Intelligence (AI), Robotics, STEM and loT with school education. On this occasion, a spectacular demonstration of AI-based learning was done in the presence of students, parents, teachers and industry experts. Developed in collaboration with E-DAC Learning System, this lab is equipped with modern AI workstations, robotics kits, IoT devices and machine learning tools. The aim of this joint effort is to not limit students to theory alone but give them an opportunity to learn, think, and create through real-world applications. Speaking on the occasion, Principal Shailja Tandon said, “As the whole world moves towards Artificial Intelligence, we too have to prepare our students for this revolution. This AI lab is a new opportunity for our children - where they will develop the ability to think, discover and innovate, not just the curriculum.”

67th annual awards function at DAV

DAV College Amritsar successfully conducted its 67th annual award ceremony today. The event celebrated the outstanding achievements of students in various fields, including academics, sports, cultural activities and social service. The ceremony was graced by Deputy Commissioner Sakshi Sawhney. She delivered an inspiring speech encouraging the winners to continue their pursuit of excellence. The guest of honour, Dr Saroj Arora, addressed the audience and shared that she started her career as a professor from DAV College, Amritsar. She congratulated the prize winners of different academic and co-curriculum activities during the session. As many as 245 students were awarded certificates and medals by the chief guest, the guest of honour, the principal, and other dignitaries.
