Campus notes: JEE success celebrations
The Senior Study II celebrated the success of their students in JEE Mains, session I, results. Chetna Mundraa, Surayansh Rana, Gauransh Srivastav and Bhavdeep Singh have all scored more than 90 percentile in the exam. “We are proud of our students, who have worked hard to achieve this,” said director Vijay Mehra. “My congratulations to the parents who have given their wards the love and support necessary during this stressful period of exams, results and admissions, which will determine the future of these youngsters,’’ said principal Upasana Mehra.
Spring Dale students shine
Spring Dale school celebrated the success of its students in JEE Mains, session I results. Sharing the achievements of his students Sahiljit Singh Sandhu, chairman, Spring Dale Educational Society, said that Vansh Goel of the school was the district topper by securing 99.97 percentile. Raahil Dhawan scored 99.88 percentile, Budhish Dhawan scored 99.87 percentile, Daksh Sehgal scored 99.74, Japneet Singh 99.57 percentile and Rehaan Arora scored 99.12 percentile.
Amritsar SSP releases book
The book “Fundamentals of Cyber Security”, authored by Gurjeet Singh, vice-principal of the Chief Khalsa Diwan Institute of Management and Technology, Amritsar, was released by Charanjit Singh Sohal (IPS), Amritsar (Rural) SSP. This book provides in-depth analysis of how technological advancements have led to the rise of computer-facilitated crimes, affecting individuals, businesses and governments worldwide. It serves as an essential guide for students, professionals and the general public, offering crucial insights into cyber threats, online safety and data protection. The book aims to educate individuals on how to safeguard their personal and financial data, understand the latest cyber threats, and implement effective cyber security practices.
AGC hosts convocation
The Amritsar Group of Colleges (AGC) organised its 7th convocation and annual prize distribution function, honouring the achievements of its proud students. Montu M Patel, president of the Pharmacy Council of India, was the Chief Guest. Pardeep Kumar Sabharwal, IAS, was the guest of honour, while Sushil Kumar Bansal, president of Punjab Pharmacy Council, was the special guest. Degrees were given to 500 graduating students. Meritorious students, who demonstrated exceptional academic brilliance, were honoured with gold and silver medals in recognition of their outstanding performances.

DAV International School organised a havan ceremony for students of Classes X and XII to invoke divine blessings and bolster their confidence for the upcoming board examinations.
