Traffic awareness workshop
The Amritsar Police Commissionerate directed ADCP Traffic Harpal Singh, SI Daljit Singh, in-charge of Traffic Education Cell and his team, to conduct awareness workshops while celebrating Road Safety Month. The team installed reflectors on commercial vehicles so that the drivers coming from behind, during foggy weather, can know that there is a vehicle in front. Daljit Singh, in-charge of the Traffic Education Cell, informed the drivers, including school bus drivers that they should never drive at high speed in foggy weather. He informed during the workshop that whenever a vehicle has to be overtaken, it is necessary to keep a distance of at least 100 meters.
