Campus notes: Partap World student clears SLAT
Partap World School (PWS), Pathankot, celebrates yet another remarkable academic achievement as its student, Sanyyamn Kundal, has successfully cleared the Symbiosis Law Admission Test (SLAT), securing admission to Symbiosis Law School, Pune. Sanyyamn will be pursuing the prestigious BBA LLB programme, which is ranked among the top 10 law programs in India. Media Mela at KCA
Amritsar: The Media Mela, organised by the PG department of Journalism and Mass Communication at Khalsa College Amritsar (KCA), successfully concluded. Vir Bala Aggarwal, chairperson of the Media Department of Himachal Pradesh University, was the chief guest and Ranbir Singh, head of the media department at IK Gujral University, and Namrata Joshi, head of the media department at GNDU regional campus Jalandhar, were the guests at this event. Acting principal Arvinder Kaur Kahlon honoured the chief guests with shawls, mementos and a college coffee table book.
EXcelsum High hosts sports day
Amritsar: The Annual Sports Day of step by step kindergarten was held at Excelsum High School, bringing together young learners in a celebration of energy, enthusiasm and skill. The event saw 100 per cent participation from nursery to UKG students, making it a truly inclusive and engaging experience. The little ones actively took part in hoopla, taekwondo, rhythmic gymnastics, PT drills and age-appropriate races, all designed to promote physical fitness and confidence. Director principal Gunita Grewal appreciated the dedication of the students and the efforts of the teachers.
IIM launches integrated management course
Amritsar: The Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Amritsar, has launched its highly anticipated integrated programme in management (IPM), designed to equip students with advanced business acumen and leadership skills. This five-year programme leads to an MBA (dual degree) and offers students the flexibility to exit after three years with a BSc in quantitative finance and economics. The programme is tailored to prepare students for leadership roles in economics, banking, financial markets, insurance, risk management, consulting and financial data analytics.
