Amritsar: Spring Blossoms School celebrated the Republic Day and children were sensitised about the importance of the day. They were motivated to remember the sacrifices of those who fought for our independence and laid the foundation for a strong, democratic nation. The little ones (in the 3-5 age group), dressed in the colours of ‘Tiranga’, made Republic Day badges and enjoyed an engaging storytelling session. Principal Anupama Mehra, said, “Our ancestors gave us a glorious past. We need to create a resplendent future. Patriotism is not something to be felt or experienced only once or twice a year, it is a feeling that entails fulfilment of one’s responsibility towards the environment, fellow beings and serving the nation selflessly. This Republic Day, let us re-affirm our faith in the Constitution and commit to build a better future for all the citizens.”
