This recognition was awarded during Prof Singh’s recent academic visit to Canada, aimed at strengthening institutional partnerships, faculty exchanges and collaborative research between GNDU and Canadian universities. Prof Singh has been making efforts to strengthen GNDU’s strategic internationalisation agenda and positioning the university as a global academic stakeholder. He recently shared approaching public universities in Canada for tie ups in field of research and education with GNDU.

VC Singh expressed that the formal certificate, adorned with the coats of arms of Canada’s provinces and territories, reflects not just personal recognition but a broader symbol of growing educational bridges between India and Canada. He said that this recognition by a Canadian federal lawmaker underlines the increasing significance of academic diplomacy in global affairs.
