Case against Bhai Jaswant Singh: Sikhs to march to Bhikhiwind police station on July 27
Tarn Taran, July 19
Sikh organisations have expressed resentment over criminal case registered against Sikh preacher Bhai Jaswant Singh for allegedly hurting religious sentiments two years ago.
The organisations in a meeting organised at Gurdwara Guru Sar, Khemkaran, under the leadership of Surjit Singh Bhura today decided to march to the Bhikhiwind police station to court arrest themselves on July 27.
The preacher had allegedly made objectionable remarks against Christianity though he had given clarification over the said words.
A case was registered by the Bhikhiwind Police two years ago. Bhura alleged that the case registered on fake facts hence it should be cancelled.
Bhai Jaswant Singh had got an anticipatory bail. Surjit Singh said the Sikh activists would march to the Bhikhiwind police station seeking cancelation of the case.
