Chandigarh varsity launches portal for CUCET
Chandigarh University (CU) has launched a scholarship scheme worth Rs 210 crore to be provided to the meritorious students and those from financial weaker sections of society here on Wednesday with the opening of the portal for the Chandigarh University Common Entrance Test 2025 (CUCET 2025).
Advisor to Chancellor of Chandigarh University, Prof RS Bawa, while addressing a press conference, announced the opening of the portal. Prof Bawa said students can easily apply by visiting the Chandigarh University website (https://www.cuchd.in/scholarship/). Prof Bawa said since the establishment of the university in 2012, as many as 1.30 lakh students have been financially assisted in the form of scholarships till now. Prof Bawa added that as many as 904 recruiters, including leading MNCs and corporate houses, have offered 9,124 jobs across various streams to Chandigarh University students.
