In a significant step towards women’s empowerment and community development, the Diocese of Amritsar (DoA), Church of North India (CNI), has elected its new Diocesan Women’s Fellowship for Christian Service (DWFCS) committee during the DWFCS Triennium. Led by Meena William (president), Dorothy (vice-president), Marshlaw Khokhar (secretary) and Dani Singh (treasurer), this team is poised to drive positive change across Punjab, Himachal Pradesh and Jammu and Kashmir.

The DWFCS will spearhead initiatives like the World Day of Prayer, Christian Home Week and Environment Day. “Despite progress, the plight of many women and girls remains dire. We aim to work tirelessly for their welfare, providing support, guidance and opportunities for growth,” said Meena William, president, DWFCS.
