The Chairman of the National Commission for Protection of Child Rights (NCPCR) will visit Amritsar on July 24. During his visit, he will listen to grievances of children from the needy families and children with special needs.

Assistant Commissioner (General) Gursimran Kaur said at a meeting that a special camp would be held by the commission at the community hall of the Urban Improvement Trust in Ranjit Avenue during which the NCPCR Chairman would listen to problems of children. She instructed officials to be present at the camp.

While reviewing preparations for the camp, she asked officials to resolve complaints of children on the spot. She said officials must be present at the camp as children need to register with Aadhaar card, UDI card and Ayushman card.
