Cong workers protest at DAC in Tarn Taran
The Congress party organised a protest in front of the local District Administrative Complex (DAC) on Tuesday against the allegedly objectionable comments on Dr B R Ambedkar passed by Amit Shah ,Union Home Minister.
The party presented a memorandum at the office Deputy Commissioner in the name of the President of the Country to remove the Minister from the minister-ship. Maninderpal Singh Palasaur , Rajbir Singh Bhullar were among the others who addressed on the occasion and condemned the Union Minister for his remarks against Dr Ambedkar who is known as the ‘Father of the Indian Constitution’.
The party leaders laid flowers to the statue of Dr. B. R. Ambedkar installed in the DAC complex to pay their to the ‘ father of the Constitution’. The Congressmen lodged their strong protest against Amit Shah, HM.
