Kripal said that Congress leader Rahul Gandhi has held both the BJP government and the Election Commission accountable on the matter. Acting on the directives of Punjab Pradesh Congress Committee President Amarinder Singh Raja Warring, Youth Congress National President Uday Bhanu Chib, and Punjab Youth Congress President Mohit Mahindra, the party will launch a grassroots awareness campaign across villages to educate people about vote theft.

He further alleged that the Narendra Modi government came to power through stolen votes and affirmed that the Youth Congress will intensify efforts to prevent vote theft at the booth level. Congress workers Lakhwinder Singh, Manjinder Singh, Resham Singh, Dilawar Singh, and others were present at the event.
