DAV Public School
Amritsar: DAV Public School, Lawrence Road, organised a special assembly to mark the consecration of Ram Temple. Staff members enlightened students about the life and teachings of Lord Rama. The students and staff also took part in a havan that was organised on campus. The atmosphere resonated with the chants of ‘Jai Shri Ram’. The live telecast of the ceremony in Ayodhya was broadcast live. Principal Pallavi Sethi advised the students to inculcate Lord Rama’s values of integrity, humility, bravery and compassion in their lives.
Spring Dale School
The quizzers of Spring Dale proved their mettle by winning the national level ‘Bharat Ko Jano Quiz’ competition organised by Bharat Vikas Parishad, at Kurukshetra. The school team comprised Raghuvansh Wadhwa of Class XI and Gursidak Kaur Boparai of Class X, guided by their mentor Neeru Issar. While congratulating the team, the principal said heritage education had always been an integral part of the school’s teaching under the ‘Heritage Program’.
Bhavan’s SL Public School
Bhavan’s SL Public School organised ‘Gayatri Havan’ to celebrate the consecration ceremony of the Ram Temple. All the students and teachers attended the havan to seek god’s blessings. The students chanted the Gayatri Mantra 108 times.
Shri Ram Ashram Sr Sec School
Shri Ram Ashram Senior Secondary School organised a ‘Ram Naam’ human chain on the occasion of the consecration ceremony of Ram Temple. Principal Neetu Sharma said the consecration of the temple was a manifestation of faith and unity. It was a testament to India’s rich cultural heritage. President Balbir Bajaj exhorted students and staff be part of the joyous and auspicious occasion. Students of Shri Ram Ashram Public School, at SSSS chowk, sang verses from the ‘Bhagavad Gita’ to mark the occasion. The students of Class XI were shown the live telecast of the consecration ceremony.
Senior Study II
On the auspicious day of the “Pran Pratishtha” of Lord Rama, Senior Study II organised a special assembly. Students and staff sang devotional songs and the live telecast of the consecration ceremony was shown on campus. Director Vijay Mehra and principal Upasana Mehra extended their wishes on the occasion.
