The Communist Party of India (CPI) has announced that it will hold a Majha rally here on December 2. Party secretary Bant Singh Brar said that people in large numbers would participate in the rally to express their resentment against the BJP-led Central government.

Bant Singh accused the BJP of spreading hatred among the communities to push its agenda. The communist leader said that people want employment, good governance and better living conditions.
