The four-day annual sports competition organised by Dashmesh Parivar Group of Schools concluded on Saturday with the prize distribution ceremony. The competition was held in the ground of Dashmesh Parivar International, Emma Kalan. Rupinder Kaur, director of the Emma Kalan school, said there were competitions in kabaddi, football, volleyball, tug-of-war, Kho-kho etc.
In these competitions, Dashmesh Parivar Khalsa Public School, Chuchakwal, won the Senior Kabaddi Cup and Junior Cup in Kho-kho. Dashmesh Parivar International School, Doburji, won the tug-of-war cup. Dashmesh Parivar International School, Emma Kalan, won the junior kabaddi cup along with the senior cup in football and volleyball.
The winning teams were awarded prizes by Jaswant Singh Khalsa, Chairman of the Group of Schools. Parents expressed their satisfaction over the performance of their children. Jaswant Singh Khalsa, Chairman encouraged the students to take interest in sport along with studies.
