DC: Dial 1076 to avail govt services at home

Goraya, July 18

The district administration today organised a camp under “Aap Di Sarkar, Aap De Dwar” at Goraya to provide citizen-centric services at their doorsteps. Addressing the people at the camp, Jalandhar DC Himanshu Aggarwal urged the people to avail 43 types of services by calling 1076 at home, to save time.

During the camp at Goraya, the people raised issues like slow laying of sewer lines and construction of public toilets, on which the DC directed the officials of Sewerage Board and Public Health Department to complete the work on priority basis. Certificates related to pension and caste was also issued to the applicants during the camp.

During the camp, people received services related to the Revenue Department, Powercom, Social Justice, Agriculture, Cooperation, Health and Tehsil office.
