Chief Agriculture Officer Dr Tajinder Singh also appealed to the farmers not to burn the stubble of paddy crop. He said that a large number of essential nutrients in the soil also get burnt along with the residue. These vans are being operated by the agriculture and Farmers’ Welfare Department.
