Delegation leaves for 34th World Punjabi Conference
A 65-member delegation from India entered Pakistan through the Wagah-Attari road to participate in the 34th World Punjabi Conference to be held in Lahore from January 19 to 21.
The delegation, which arrived to participate in this conference on the invitation of former Pakistani Prime Minister Fakhar Zaman, is being led by the coordinator of the Indian chapter of the conference, Sehajpreet Singh Mangat, chairman Dr Deepak Manmohan Singh and the eminent poet and chairman of Punjabi Virasat Lok Akademi Gurbhajan Singh Gill.
Sehajpreet Singh Mangat shared that the conference will be on Sufism in which various papers will be read and discussions will be held. The delegation includes eminent personalities associated with the fields of literature, art, culture, journalism, and IAS, IPS officers, etc.
New books published in Gurmukhi and Shahmukhi by Gurbhajan Singh Gill, Sehajpreet Singh Mangat, Trailochan Lochi and Navdeep Singh Gill will be released.
