The ex-servicemen under the banner of ‘Sabka Sainik Sanghrash Committee’ against the alleged discrimination with the Personnel Below Officer Rank (PBOR) observed a black day by protesting in Tarn Taran on Thursday.

Subedar Pargat Singh, National President of the Committee while addressing on the occasion said that the recommendation of the seventh pay commission given under OROP to the PBOR have failed to make them satisfy as it was not up to their expectations.

He demanded that to give them their right the Union must form three-member committee of retired Supreme court judges under the supervision of the Supreme Court to counter the discrepancies of the 7th pay commissioner. Jagtar Singh Bath, Joginder Singh , Sarwan Singh, Satpal Singh, Sukhbir Singh were among their others who too addressed on the occasion and stressed on redress of their demands.
