However, for all art lovers in the city, the Kausa Trust brought together prints of the celebrated works by these art legends in a weeklong exhibition to mark its 11th anniversary.

The exhibition of the prints of some of the renowned works by Picasso, Edgar Degas, Rembrandt, Salvador Dali, Vincent Van Gogh, Raja Ravi Varma, Sobha Singh and many more opened at KT Kala on Saturday.

The exhibition was thronged by art students and aspiring artists. “Introducing Monet to a beginner requires a visual understanding of the work, the technique they used despite limitations during their time. The exhibition is a one-of-its-kind attempt by the KT Kala to familiarise art students and art lovers with internationally celebrated artworks that has awed many.

Similarly, Sobha Singh or Raja Ravi Varma’s creative legacy too must be made known to the young generation,” said Brajesh Jolly, curator, art critic and a director of KT Kala.

The KT Kala also inaugurated an art studio, dedicating it to the art fraternity in the city. “It will be a dedicated space for artists and anyone, who wants to explore their creative talent, can come and use the studio free of cost,” said Jolly.
