The Fire Safety Department of the Municipal Corporation conducted a mock drill at Valmiki Tirath to make the employees as well as members of the general public aware about precautions to be taken for averting a fire incident. Lord Valmiki’s birth anniversary is being celebrated at Valmiki Tirth. Deputy Commissioner Sakshi Sawhney said that a large number of devotees will arrive for the occasion. Kush Raj, general manager of Sri Valmiki Tirath Sthal said that adequate arrangements have been made to deal with any untoward incident.

The mock drill was led by Fireman Sahil Gill. Other fire safety officials including Additional Divisional Fire Officer Dilbagh Singh, Jaspal Puri, Raj Sikandar, Sandeep Kumar, Jaswinder Singh and Paramjit Singh were also present on the occasion.
