Amritsar: BBK DAV College for Women under the aegis of physical education department organised a two-week physical fitness programme. As many as 50 trainees of BVoc attended the fitness programme which was held at two centres. The programme was designed according to the syllabus of the students.

Awareness rally on cleanliness

Amritsar: Under the supervision of 11 Punjab Battalion, Commanding Officer Colonel Ratnakar Trivedi, cadets of DAV College, along with NCC cadets of Collegiate School, organised a cleanliness awareness rally under the Swachhta Pakhwada. Under this rally, people were made aware about cleanliness and various methods which can be used to clean their surroundings. Principal Rajesh Kumar admired the efforts of Ratnakar Trivedi and captain Kamal Kishore in organising such rallies. On the occasion, Kamal Kishore appreciated the efforts of students and said that they had taken oath for cleanliness on December 1 under this scheme.
