Dr Vikram Chadha, former professor of economics at Punjab School of Economics, Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar, delivered a keynote address at the 12th IIMS International Conference on the theme, “Artificial Intelligence and Society : Adoption, Implementation and Regulation” recently. The three-day event was hosted by the Royal University of Law and Economics, Phnom Penh, Cambodia, on October 25.
In his talk, Dr Chadha dwelled on the prospects and programmes of the Government of India in forming skills compatible with AI, besides the initiatives to propagate AI in different productive sectors of the economy.
