The police led by Child Welfare Officer (CWO) Rajesh Kumar arrested four children along with their mothers against child begging from different parts of the town on Friday. Rajesh Kumar said the team visited various parts of the town and arrested four mothers who along with their children were begging.

The CWO said the families were not only violating the Juvenile Justice (Care and Protection) Act of 2015 but were disturbing the business of the shopkeepers too. The CWO said that the children would be presented before the local CWC.
