Dhol beats, garlands, warm hugs and proud smiles greeted students of Class X as they celebrated the declaration of CBSE Class X results.
Sparsh, a student of Class X from Senior Study II who got 99.6 per cent marks, made the city, her school and her parents proud, by bagging the top position in the district. She scored a perfect 100 in Punjabi, mathematics and social science.
Asmita, Class X student from Bhavan’s SL School, shared the second spot with two students from Spring Dale Public School, Navreen Kaur and Ekam Kaur, and Srishti of Stalwart World School by scoring 99 per cent marks.
They were followed by Armaandeep, student of Senior Study II, and Thulxmi of Bhavan’s SL School. They stood third by scoring 98.8 per cent marks.
Sparsh wants to become a cardiologist and also loves to paint. “She is an all-rounder and has been actively participating in extra-curricular activities. It is indeed a proud moment for us,” said Upasana Mehra, Principal, Senior Study II.
Armaandeep from Senior Study II also wants to pursue medicine and become a doctor.
Navreen Kaur from Spring Dale School shared that she was a bit surprised with her result. “It was unexpected as I was expecting a decent result, but not that much.” She wants to become a nurse and is planning to study abroad. Her mantra for success was study along with meditation.
