GNDU postpones exams scheduled for today
The Guru Nanak Dev University (GNDU), has postponed all annual and semester (theory) examinations scheduled for June 6 across its affiliated colleges citing administrative reasons.
Dr Shalini Bahel, Professor In-Charge (Examinations), said that the deferred examinations will now be held on Friday, June 20, at the previously designated time and examination centres. Detailed information regarding the rescheduled examinations is available on the university’s official website, www.gndu.ac.in.
The university administration has urged students and affiliated institutions to check the website for the updated schedule.
The district administration has amplified security across the city due to Operation Blue star’s anniversary . The exams have been rescheduled as a safety exercise to ensure students do not get caught in any untoward situation due to the day.
