Rajnish Bhardwaj said that these employees were working at the Publication Bureau for a long time and deserved regularisation of services and promotions just like other employees.

The Publication Bureau at Guru Nanak Dev University (GNDU) was established in 1972 to promote the university’s academic achievements through publications and to provide quality textbooks to students. It also handles the printing needs of the university and its affiliated colleges. The Bureau publishes books in multiple languages, including Punjabi, English and Hindi. It is headed by a member of GNDU faculty appointed by the VC and non-teaching members of the staff.
