To provide financial assistance to deserving youth clubs, the state government has requested a record of activities from youth clubs in the district for the past two years.

Deputy Commissioner Sakshi Sawhney said the state government is offering support to promote youth clubs under the Youth Services Department. Clubs in the district, interested in receiving financial aid, must submit two-year progress reports by February 20 to the Assistant Director of the Youth Services Department.

The Deputy Commissioner said a district-level committee, formed by the department, would assess the submitted reports before taking further action. For additional information, Assistant Director of Youth Services Amritsar, Preet Kohli, may be contacted.

Sawhney highlighted youth service clubs play an active role in social service activities at the village and ward levels, including cleanliness drives, blood donation camps, awareness campaigns and involvement in sports and other community projects.
