Grenade attack: Rohan Masih’s police remand extended by one day
Rohan Masih, the prime suspect in the Chandigarh grenade attack case, was produced in a local court by the State Special Operation Cell after the expiry of his police remand. The court has extended his police remand by one day. He would be produced along with the second suspect, Vishal Masih, tomorrow. Vishal’s police remand would end on Friday.
Rohan Masih, a resident of Pashia village located near the International Border in Ramdass area, and Vishal Masih had hurled a hand grenade at a house in Sector 10, Chandigarh, at the behest of US-based gangster-turned terrorist Harpreet Singh, alias Happy Pashia, and Pakistan-based terrorist Harwinder Singh Rinda. The police had termed it a terror attack targeted at a former cop a couple of months ago.
